I've gotten further into There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom. So far I have enjoyed this book and I would probably recommend it to people in the future. Plus its kind of an easy read. The chapters are really short, which makes you feel like you are flying through it. I finally found out that it was Jeff he accidentally wonders into the girl's bathroom. He's super embarrassed about it and tells Mrs. Davis it. She tried to convey to him that it was an honest mistake and that he shouldn't worry about it. A couple of days have gone by and Bradley and Jeff have become good friends. But Bradley finds out that Jeff actually likes Mrs. Davis and he doesn't know how to feel about that because he still doesn't want to like her. Jeff also starts to look out for Bradley and tries to help him out. For example, at recess he keeps Bradley out of trouble. A group of girls try to talk to Jeff, which makes Bradley angry and wants to go "punch their faces in". Jeff uses what he has learned from Mrs. Davis and warns him not to do because other people will see and get him into trouble. Which I like because, we see a character learn something and apply it to his real life situations. I'm excited to finish this book and watch these characters develop more.
I was also pretty intrigued by this book from what we read in class. It seems like a funny one that a child would enjoy reading. The fact that the boys have become good friends and look out for each other is awesome. Watching these characters develop more over the next few readings should be so much fun.
